IAUE 2016-17 School Fees Payment Deadline Notice

This is to inform all Students of the Ignatius Ajuru University Of Education that, at the Meeting of Principal Officers of the university, and after several appeals by Students, it was decided that the date for payment of school fees should be extended to Wednesday February 15, 2017.

UNIZIK 2016-17 Course Registration Deadline Notice To All Students

The authorities of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka wishes to inform all students of the institution that the University Wide Course Registration which commenced on Monday, 16th of January will end on Friday, 3rd February, 2017.

To this effect, all students are:

UNIZIK COURSE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

i. Expected to download the UNIZIK mobile app from http://nauportal.com/update/naumobile.apk and fill in the O’ Level(s) result submitted during their year one physical clearance.



ii. The students must pay their school fees.

iii. Students are expected to go to the basement of the Digital Library to complete their course registration.

Failure of any student to complete these processes before the deadline will automatically disqualify the student from taking the Semester Examination.

According to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Charles Esimone, all the processes (school fees payment, filling of O’ levels and Registration of courses) must be completed on or before the deadline – 3rd February, 2017.

UI 2016-17 Hostel Accommodation And School Levy Payment Guidelines

The Authorities of the University of Ibadan has released the hostel accommodation and school levy payment guidelines for newly admitted students of the institution for the 2016/2017 academic session.

Step 1:
Visit the U.I. Portal www.portal.ui.edu.ng and type in your JAMB Registration Number at ‘NEW STUDENTS SHOULD CLICK HERE TO LOGIN’ to view your Matriculation Number, Hall of Residence and personalized email.

Step 2:
Follow the link on the same page to “apply for hostel accommodation by clicking here”. This will allow you to apply for accommodation and you have the option of selecting your desired room.

Step 3:
Proceed to the portal www.portal.ui.edu.ng, use your login parameters i.e.
UserName: Your Matriculation Number
Password: password


Step 4:
Read the terms and conditions, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “I Agree “.

Step 5:
A Fee Payment web page will be displayed, click on “Pay your fee” (on the top right corner of the page) to select your fee items.

Step 6:
Click on “Add Selected Items to my Pay list” Select the fee items that you want to pay for; e.g. Bundled (Ges/School levy).

Eligible first year and Final year student should select Accommodation levy in addition

Step 7:
Click on “Proceed” and wait for the PIN confirmation page.

This page will display the correct amount of levy to pay.

Step 8:
LOGOUT of this page for now and Proceed to any of the designated bank.

Obtain your School Charges Access Code PIN from any of the banks listed below through SW Pin System. You will be issued access PIN upon payment at the bank.

Step 9:
Obtain your Accommodation levy Access Code PIN from any branch of STANBIC IBTC Bank

Step 10:
LOGIN into the portal and repeat steps 5, 6 and 7.

Select “PIN” mode of payment and click on Post Now.

Please note that payment for accommodation and school levy has to be done separately on the portal.

Once your payment is successful, you will be taken directly to your personalized school portal page and you are MANDATED to change your password and update your personal details before you do anything on the portal.

Eligible student for accommodation should check their personalized email for approval of accommodation request. This should be printed and taken to the hall for immediate allocation of room

To update your personal details:

Click on “Click to edit your personal data form” at the top right hand corner of the page.
Fill in your personal data and click “Update” at the top right hand corner.
Please note that changes will not be saved until you click “Update”

Proceed to your Finance office with a copy of the payment confirmation page to collect your Official School Receipt. You can check the status of your school receipt at finance office at www.streceipt.ui.edu.ng
Proceed to your department to obtain your Courses and login on UI Portal with your NEW Password. Click on “My Courses” to view all your Courses. Add new Courses by typing the Course Code e.g GES102 in “Add more Courses”. Click on check box to add Elective Courses to your Course listing. After completing your courses on the Course listings, click on “SAVE” and then “SUBMIT”. Click on “Finish”.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO HALL APPLICANTS 

Before You Apply for Hall

Application Requirements

Kindly ensure that the references you are providing are same as the ones you presented during your admission clearance

Ensure that a copy of the same reference letter you submitted during your admission clearance is given to your warden before a room will be approved

Ensure that the accommodation is paid exactly 72hours after you have been assigned a room, otherwise the room will be re-assigned to another candidate.

No room will be given to any student without accommodation payment levy receipt presented to the hall warden

Present the following to your Hall Warden

before Collection of room key
  • Receipt (Proof of Payment)
  • Letter from Referees
  • Proof of Disability (physical, medical etc)
  • Proof of Discretionary (Exco, sports, Press etc)

NOTE:
All Students must submit two copies of the online registration printout, with their course form to their faculty officer.
Closing date for payment will be announced at a later date.

Admission Requirement:
MASTERS IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA)
-Candidates for admission into MBA (Regular) should have:
- A minimum of a Good Second Class Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Management, Economics, Banking and Finance from any recognized University
-A Degree or HND with a minimum of Lower Credit plus University Postgraduate Diploma with a minimum of Merit in the relevant areas from any recognized University.
-Candidates for admission into MBA (Special) should have a minimum of a Good Second Class Degree in any discipline from Bayero University, Kano or any other recognized University.
MASTERS IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP (M.Ent); Candidates for admission into M.Ent (Regular) should have:
-A minimum of a good Second Class degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics, Banking and Finance, or any related discipline from any recognized university; or A Degree or HND with a minimum of Lower Credit plus a Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship (PGD-Ent) with a minimum of Merit from any recognized university.
-A Degree or HND with a minimum of Lower Credit plus University Postgraduate Diploma with a minimum of Merit in the relevant areas from any recognized University.
-Candidates for admission into M.Ent (Special) should have a minimum of a good Second Class degree in any discipline from any recognized university.
POSTGARDUATE DIPLOMA IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP (PGD-Ent); A candidate must have obtained BSc or HND; or
Have accredited professional qualifications, such as ICAN, ANAN, etc from a recognized institution and must have possessed five relevant credits at Ordinary Level.
-The candidate is also required to have at least one year post graduation experience.
POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN MANAGEMENT (PGDM); Candidates for admission into PGDM shall possess a Degree in any discipline from any recognized university; or HND with a minimum classification of Lower Credit obtained from recognized institutions.
-The candidate is also required to have at least one years of post graduation experience.

  2. The cost of each application is Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) only, plus administrative charges of Five Hundred Naira (N500.00) only payable through the University Remita Platform.
  3. Please ensure that you have the entry requirements of the programme applied for, plus five ‘O’ Level Credits (including English Language and/or Mathematics).
  4. After registration, print an Acknowledgement Slip and keep it safe. The slip will be needed during the collection of admission letter and during registration.

Admission Requirement for the Programmes

NB: All candidates for admission into Ph.D, M.Phil, M.A, M.Ed, M.Sc, M.Eng and LLM Programmes must provide records of their Academic Transcripts

  1. Candidates for admission into Ph.D/M.Phil programmes shall have M.A, M.Ed., M.Sc, M.Eng. or LLM Degrees in the relevant areas with CGPA of at least 3.50 on a scale of 0.00 to 5.00 from Bayero University, Kano or any other recognised University.
  2. Candidates for admission into M.A, M.Ed, M.Sc (Ed), MLS, M.Sc., M.Eng. and LLM programmes shall have:
    1. A minimum of a Good Second Class Lower Degree in the relevant areas from Bayero University, Kano or any other recognised University.
    2. A Degree plus University Postgraduate Diploma at Credit level in the relevant areas from Bayero University, Kano or any other recognised University.
    3. For all Engineering programmes, candidates must have Credit in English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
  3. Candidates for admission into MBCL shall possess:
    1. A minimum of a Good Second Class Degree in Law or the Social Sciences from Bayero University, Kano or any other recognized University
    2. A Degree in Law or the Social Sciences plus University Postgraduate Diploma with minimum classification of Merit from Bayero University, Kano or any other recognized University.
  4. Candidates for admission into PGDBF, PGDHE, PGDPPA, PGDSPA, PGDCMPC, PGDMC, PGDDS, PGDE, PGDGC, PGDRTM, PGDHE, PGDDA and PGDIM shall possess a Degree in any discipline from BUK or any other recognized University or HND with a minimum classification of Lower Credit obtained from recognized Institutions.
  5. Candidates for admission into PGDEM, PGDLA and PGDSE, shall possess a Degree in Geography, Environmental Sciences, Agriculture and related disciplines or HND with a minimum of Lower Credit in the related disciplines.
  6. Candidates for admission into PGDAF shall hold a Degree in Accounting or related disciplines obtained from a recognized University or HND with a minimum classification of Lower Credit in Accounting or related disciplines obtained from recognized Institutions.
  7. Candidates for admission into PGDTESL must have at least a 3rd class Degree in English or combined honours.
  8. Candidates for admission into PGDHS should have at least a 3rd class Degree in Hausa or combined honours or HND with a minimum of Lower Credit in the relevant areas obtained from recognized Institutions.
  9. Candidates for admission into PGDBS, PGDC and PGDIP shall have a Degree in the relevant Science subjects or HND with a minimum of Lower Credit in the relevant areas obtained from recognized Institutions.
  10. Candidates for admission into PGDEE, PGDCE and PGDME shall have a Degree in the relevant Engineering areas or HND with a minimum of Lower Credit in the relevant engineering areas obtained from recognized Institutions.

    1. Have MBBS or BDS degree of Bayero University, Kano or an equivalent Medical Degree from a recognised University.
    2. Be registered with the Nigerian Medical and Dental Council and posses a current practicing license.
    3. Have at least three years post qualification cognate experience in Medicine or health related area at Federal, State or Local Government Area levels. Those employed in non-governmental organisations, engaged in occupational health services as well as those in the private sector are also eligible.
    4. There shall be an entry written examination, short listed candidates will then be interviewed to determine eligibility of the candidates.
Application Procedure
Step 1
Click on the Register Tab on the left navigation panel to go to the Create an Account Page. At the Create an Account page, create an account by providing your First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Personal Email and Personal GSM Phone Number. A Login credentials (username and password) will be generated for you. Please take note of them, as you need them for subsequent steps of the application process. Use Login Tab on the left navigation panel to login to your account (using your login credentials) to start/continue your application process.
Step 2
Return to the Login Page and login with your username and password to fill in the Application Forms:
  • Programme Selection Form
  • Personal Data Form &
  • Qualifications Form
Step 3
Transcript Request Form shall also be filled in addition to the forms listed in Step 2 above.
Step 4
Review all your forms to ensure accuracy of all information before submission.
Step 5
Generate your BUK Personalised Payment Form (BUKPPF). The BUKPPF includes information need to make payment through the Remita e-Payments platform. Refer to the Payment Procedure documentation for an in-depth look on the payment procedure.
Step 6
After successfully generated BUKPPF and using the Remita e-Payments platform a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number is generated for you. The RRR uniquely ties your payment to your application account, after obtaining your RRR, login to your application account and submit the RRR used for payment. Note that submitting the RRR in the application portal is not tied to your actual payment.
Step 7
Print an Acknowledgement Slip and keep it safe. The slip will be needed during the collection of admission letter and during registration.
